A new Asterix album has been launched a few days ago on 24th October. It is after a gap of eight years that Asterix is having a new adventure. The new story is set in Scotland where the indomitable Gauls have never set foot before.Few glimpses are available here at facebook page of ipcomics. Another page (English) can be seen here.
A new team of writer - illustrator is doing the job under the supervision of master artist and one of the two original creators 'Albert Uderzo'. By the initial looks, the book is looking very promising.
I am eagerly waiting for it to become available in Indian market so that I can add this one to my collection of previous 34 books.
The new creators are Didier Conrad (illustrations) and Jean-Yves Ferri (story) who are said to be great fans of Asterix themselves since their childhood.
